Location and
facilities:
Located just off the Independence
Square, 214 N. Osage between Truman
Road and Maple Street. Two blocks
from the main bus line. The building
floor space includes a reception
area, administrators office, clinic, facial room,
dispensary, classroom, break room and
two restrooms.
What to Expect:
We are closed Saturday and Sunday.
Class teaching and testing: Theory classes
are held on Thursdays from 10:00 a.m.
to 12:00 p.m. Classes consist of reading
the chapter with the class,
discussion, use of overhead projector, videotapes,
hand out chapter papers, and
lab work. All tests require a grade of 70% to pass
and consist of true/false and
multiple choices. Retesting is permitted with Instructor
approval. Students progress at their
own pace. Finals: passing grade is 85%.
State Board testing is now held
weekly in the following cities:
Week 1: St. Louis, Missouri
Week 2: Kansas City, Missouri
Week 3: Jefferson City, Missouri
Week 4: Springfield, Missouri.
You are responsible for the test fee of $135.00.
Class Schedules:
Classes begin the second Tuesday of
each month. We are open five (5) days a week,
Monday through Friday. Our hours are:
8:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. Monday and Friday,
and 8:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m. Tuesday,
Wednesday, and Thursday. No Saturdays.
We are closed January 1, May 29, July
4, July 17, August 14, August 28 to September 4, November 23 , 24, and
December 25.
Graduation Requirements:
Upon satisfactory completion of
required State Board practical and theory hours, with
a FINAL passing grade of 85%, the
student will receive a diploma and be eligible to
take State Board Examinations.
